A browser-based stopwatch for timing anything. Start the timer, pause when needed, and record lap times while it runs. Each lap shows the split interval and total elapsed time. Click any lap to copy it. The timer keeps going when you switch tabs or windows—useful for timing across different apps. Works for workouts, cooking, games, presentations, or any task that needs precise timing. No download, no account.
Click the Start button or press Space. Click Stop (or press Space again) to pause. Click Start to resume from where you stopped. Reset clears everything.
Lap records the current time without pausing. Use it to track splits—like timing each lap around a track, or measuring segments of a longer activity. Each lap shows the time since your last lap plus the total elapsed time.
Yes. Press Lap as many times as you need. Laps appear in a list below the timer, newest first. Each entry shows the lap number, the split interval, and the total time at that point.
Yes. The stopwatch tracks actual clock time, not increments. Switch tabs, open other apps, come back later—the display shows the correct elapsed time. This works because it calculates from the start timestamp rather than counting up.
The display shows centiseconds (hundredths of a second) and updates every 10 milliseconds. It uses your device's system clock, accurate to within a few milliseconds. Fine for workouts, cooking, games, and everyday timing—not certified for official sports.
Click any lap in the list to copy its total time to your clipboard. Format is HH:MM:SS.cc (hours, minutes, seconds, centiseconds).
Everything clears. The stopwatch doesn't save your session. If you need a record, copy your lap times before leaving the page.
