Every tool on ToolkitBook runs in your browser. When you format code, convert a file, or edit an image, it all happens on your device in plain JavaScript. Nothing you type, paste, or upload goes to our servers. We never see it because we never get it.
You don't need to sign up or log in. We don't set cookies to follow you around, and we don't build profiles on anyone. The site does use cookies for basic analytics and ads (see below), but none of it is tied to you—because there's no account to tie it to.
A few tools load open-source JavaScript libraries from a CDN—a code formatter, say. Those run in your browser the same as our own code. They don't phone home with your input. They just help the tool work on your machine.
If this ever changes, we'll post the updated version here with a new date. Don't expect much to change, though. The whole point is simple: your data never leaves your browser.
